The x variety "brush" has fine wavy, often wiry fur on the whole body, with bald areas on the head, upper part of neck or on the back. These cats can be used for breeding, participate in shows, but cannot obtain certificates. Outcross with other breeds: BAL/OLH/OSH/SIA/SYL/SYS, only for the breeding of Peterbalds |
| Registration | Only naked cats will be registered as PEB – Peterbald. However, following the registration, kittens from such outcrosses are first registered as XSH and can then be presented in Control Class and possibly be re-registered as PEB. All others will remain registered as XSH and can only be used for the breeding of PEB after permission from the national FIFe Member. Breeding these XSH with BAL/OSH/OLH/SYL/SYS/SIA is strictly forbidden. | |
