6 General Rules
6.1Complaints against judges
Written complaints lodged against judges are to be dealt with by the FIFe Judges and Standards Commission. The complaint must be a detailed and accurate report sent by a FIFe member within two months after the event in question. The complaint must be presented in one of the three official FIFe languages with reference to the FIFe Statutes Article 6.3. If it is deemed necessary by this commission the case will be submitted to the Disciplinary Commission who will, in turn, inform the Board of its findings according to Article 8.1 of the Statutes of FIFe.
6.2No Suspension of a judge by the national FIFe member
A FIFe member in which a judge is a member, is not empowered to suspend a judge from officiating as a judge either on a temporary or a permanent basis.
6.3All documents to be submitted in original or as certified copies
When steward certificates, student judge certificates, examination papers, stage certificates are required to be submitted, such documents must be originals or certified copies.
6.4 Non-European FIFe members
6.4.1 Annual report about judges of Non-European FIFe members
FIFe members in non-European countries are required to supply the FIFe General Secretary with an annual report outlining the activities of their judges trained in accordance with article 6.4.2, in particular:
- the judges’ activities during the past year;
- the shows visited by them, and
- the varieties judged.
6.4.2 Training of judges of Non-European FIFe members
Non-European FIFe members are authorized to train judges according to their own rules. These judges are authorized to issue CAC/CAP at National Shows held in their respective countries. The criteria laid down for the issue of a CAC/CAP must be in accordance with the issue of a CAC/CAP according to the FIFe Standard.
3 international FIFe judges, when coming to non-European members for a show, may examine the local candidate on three different occasions (i.e. stages), at the end of which he would, after a successful pass, become an International FIFe Judge for shows organized by members outside Europe.
The actual amount for these examination stages is listed in Annex 1 of the General Rules. This fee must be forwarded to the FIFe when applying for the first of such stages.
6.4.3 Number of cats to be judged on shows organized by Non-European FIFe members
Non-European FIFe members are allowed, when judges are informed in writing in advance, to organize shows where the judges have no more than
- 120 cats to judge during a two-day show and
- 60 cats to judge during a one-day show
Annex 1
FIFe Judges must respect FIFe rules on all FIFe shows
FIFe Judges must judge at all FIFe shows according to the rules of FIFe. Exceptions, which are approved by the FIFe Board, must be communicated to the Judges and the FIFe Members at once.
