Title II - World Show

Every year a FIFe World Show will be held and conducted in accordance with the following rules:

2.1 application for the World Show

The FIFe member interested in conducting the show files an application with the FIFe Board. The FIFe Board decides where the show is to be held. As long as unconsidered applications are available, the World Show is not to be allocated to the same country for the second time.

2.2 date of the World Show

The World Show shall always take place on the last weekend in October and must appear clearly in the official FIFe show calendar.

2.3 qualifications for the World Show

Only cats of fully recognised breeds belonging to individual FIFe members may compete at the Worldshow.

Participation in the World Show is only possible for cats which have achieved the following qualification in the thirteen months prior to the show:

Kittens (3 – 6 months): Best in Variety or nomination for Best in Show or 3 x EX1.

Addition for class 12 (3 - 6 months):

Kittens 3 - 6 months may participate in class 12 at the World Show, if they have achieved at least 1 x EX. 1. This qualification is valid only in class 12.

Juniors (6 – 10 months): – Best in Variety or nomination for Best in Show or 3 x EX 1

Adults: – Best in Variety

or – Nomination for Best in Show

or – Each cat with the title IC, IP or higher

or – Each adult cat who got the qualification in the "3 to 10 months" categories during the 13 months before the World Cat Show.

House cats (Class 14) qualify when they have received a nomination for Best-in-Show House Cat.

The qualification for the World Show is checked and confirmed by the Association of the Country where the exhibitor holds the membership.

2.4 World Winner title

Each cat winning at the Best In Show will receive the title World Winner also mentioning the year of the show.

2.5 restrictions for shows on the date of the Worldshow

No other FIFe show will be allowed in Europe on the same weekend that the FIFe World Show takes place.

This restriction does not apply to Norway, Sweden, United Kingdom and Iceland

2.6 Scandinavian Winner Show

Scandinavia (Norway and Sweden may once a year organize a show in accordance with the rules valid for the FIFe World Show with exception of FIFe Show Rules article 2.2, 2.4 and:

- Kittens (3 - 6 months): – Best in Variety or nomination for Best in Show or 1x Ex.1

- Youngsters (6 - 10 months) – Best in Variety or nomination for Best in Show or 3x Ex.1

Each cat winning at the Best in Show will receive the title Scandinavian Winner (SW) also mentioning the year of the show. The winning cats will have their title registered in their pedigree in the same way as other official FIFe titles.
