Clarification of the EMS code for RagaMuffin (RGM non)
After queries raised by some FIFe members and judges, the Board wishes
to clarify that the preliminary abbreviation for the non-recognised breed
RagaMuffin (RGM non) may only be used when importing a cat with this breed
name on its pedigree which is issued by another organisation, or when
registering its offspring in case of a crossing with a cat of the same
breed.
It is not allowed to apply the EMS-breed code RGM non to so called "non-pointed
Ragdolls": these cats shall be registered (and shown) as XLH * <RAG>,
where the part <RAG> indicates the originating breed.
Items available for purchase in the FIFe Shop
We would like to draw your attention to the possibility to purchase several
items directly from FIFe. These items include the complete set of FIFe
Rules and the FIFe Standards of all recognised and preliminary recognised

EMS Quick Reference Card
We are happy to announce you will now find the EMS Quick Reference Card
in PDF-format in the section "Rules & Forms". This colourful

non-recognised traits within all recognised and preliminary recognised
breeds. The EMS Quick Reference Card is very useful when determining the
EMS code of a cat. Of course you can always check the EMS list in the
section "Rules & Forms" for a complete listing of all correct
full EMS codes within a breed or refer to the table of recognised varieties
in the individual breed standard in the section "Breeds".
You can also find the EMS Quick Reference Card by clicking here.
Rules and Forms version 2010 in section "Rules & Forms"
In this section you can now find the 2010 versions of all FIFe rules
and forms.

Temporary expulsion of a national Member and a Commission member
The Board of FIFe informs you that it has decided to temporarily expel
the national FIFe Member "AMIL" (Israel) and the Show Commission
member, Mrs. Lena Preisler.
This decision was made after a recommendation of the Disciplinary Commission
and with reference to articles 2.8, 5.1 and 8.1, of the FIFe Statutes.
In line with these Statutes, it will be up to the FIFe General Assembly
2010 to permanently expel AMIL as a Member and Mrs. Preisler, as a commission
member; thus, this matter will be included on the Agenda for ratification.
The Board feels it had to act in the interest of FIFe in general and should
try to safeguard a future for FIFe in Israel.
By order of the Board, Annette Sjödin - President, Eric Reijers -
General Secretary
FIFe World Show, 29 & 30.10.2011 in Poland
After the German FIFe Member, 1.DEKZV e.V, informed
the board that they would not be able to organise the 2011 World Show,
the board asked the next eligible Members, i.e. Members who had not yet
organised a World Show, if they would be willing to host this prestigious
show.
It is our pleasure to announce that the Polish Member "Felis Polonia"
accepted to host the 2011 World Show.
Further details (venue, website etc) will be announced.
FIFe Judge Photos
Ali Wittich, FIFe All-Breed Judge from Switzerland has posted his collection of photographs of many of FIFe's Judge on the FFH's Website.
Changing Membership
As a result of discussions at the GA 2006 the Board decided to modify the procedure as described in General Rules article 2.5 allowing individual members of FIFe Members to change to another National FIFe Member outside the country of their permanent residence.
You may now find these revamped forms and procedure, which should be followed in the Library.
The main idea was to change the infrastructure; to regulate that contacts from and to FIFe are matters between the National FIFe Member and the FIFe Secretariat/Board.
The Board trusts this modified procedure is clear and will result in a stricter observance of the Rules.
